Gather Round for May Fete! Sunday, May 5


We can't wait to see you at May Fete 2024!


On Sunday, May 5, we will have one bilingual worship service at 10 a.m., followed by a festival of food, games and fun! The Treble Choir of Houston at Christ Church Cathedral will sing the Offertory Anthem at this service.




10 a.m. | Worship May Fete Sunday begins with a bilingual service of Holy Communion at 10 a.m. in the Cathedral. This special service will feature the music of our English-language and Spanish-language congregations.


11:15 a.m. | The Maypole Dance & the Crowning of May Fete Royalty Following worship, gather in the Bishop’s courtyard for the maypole dance & the crowning of this year’s royals!


11:45 a.m. | May Fete Revelry & Luncheon With the ceremony over, head into Reynolds Hall and Huffington Playground for food, games, and live music!


First held in the 1890s, May Fete is one of Houston's oldest festival traditions.  


From food service to games, dance rehearsals, greeters, financial support and so much more, our time-honored tradition takes many hands and hearts to happen.
