The Treble Choir of Houston at Christ Church Cathedral has been invited to join the Casulana Choir in a choral concert entitled "Generations" on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 800 Houston Avenue, Houston, Texas 77007.

Casulana celebrates the female voice and its power to inspire and culturally enrich the lives of audience and participants through artistic and educational programs that present high-quality choral music. This choir was named for Maddalena Casulana (c. 1544 – c. 1590). She was an Italian composer, lutenist and singer of the late Renaissance. She is the first female composer to have a whole book of her music printed and published in the history of western music.

On March 30, the Treble Choir's program will be:

1. DIXIT DOMINUS - Baldassare Galuppi (1706 - 1785)

2. AVE MARIS STELLA - Edvard Grieg (1843 - 1907) , arr. Julio Dominguez (b. 1965)

3. NORWEGIAN SONGS - arr. Margaret King; Arna Green - vocal soloist

4. PSALM 23 - Randall Stoope (b. 1953); Eva Mahr (Flute), Belle Tian (Oboe)

5. FLIGHT - Craig Carnelia (b. 1949), arr. Ryan Murphy (b. 1971)

6. GO WHERE I SEND THEE - Spiritual, arr. Paul Caldwell and Sean Ivory

The Treble Choir will join the Casulana Choir in singing "Ich stand in dunkeln Träumen (I was standing in dark dreams)" - Clara Schumann (1819 - 1896).
